Yes, it's true, I had to spend my weekend with a bunch of inmature boys at their "Guys Weekend". Let's see...hmm....this is like the third "Guy's Weekend" my husband has been on with the "men" in his family. Every time one of these weekends are planned, my husband decides to tell me like one day in advance, real nice and considerete, right??

So, on Thursday the 11th, my husband informs me that he will be leaving on Friday the 12th right after work for another.....you guessed it....."Guy's Weekend".

As I was mentally preparing for another weekend of sheer bordem without my husband on Friday afternoon, and the power had gone out due to bad weather. Yep, there I was with no power...good times....oh yeah. I had texted my husband right before he had come home to let him know that I was not going to sit at home alone with my daughter with no power while he was at his "Guy's Weekend". As I was secretly enjoying the rain on his parade, I was not prepared for what happened next. When my husband came home he called his uncle and told him the situation. Oh to my suprise his uncle suggested that my husband should bring our daughter and I. Oh great, just great a weekend with all guys, every girls dream, right??? Not so much. I spent most of the weekend alone with just me and my two year old daughter. The guys ditched me at every oppritunity.
They would even ask me what they could bring home for me, so I requested some dessert, well suprise, suprise, they could not even come through with that simple request. Their excuse: they got into a bar fight. Wow, great, just great. That was just a small example of the BS I had to deal with. I must say it was a completly messed up weekend. I need to start a "Girls Night Out" weekend everytime they decied to do another "Guys Weekend".

Story time: My wedding hell oh wait I mean bliss.....

Ok, so I have been happily married for quite some time now and often reflect on my wedding day, oh such wonderful memories-insert sarcasim here-. I have never really got to write down what I experianced and how I felt during that time. I must say that there where certain members of my family that truely tried their damnest to ruin my wedding. My family thought I was a "Bridezilla" well that is not true, they were like "Familyzilla" or something like that. I thought I held my composer quite well and I have many people to back me up on that.
Thank goodness I have some truely awesome friends and that my husbands side of the family was understanding of the craziness that went on(they are pro's at dealing with all sorts of crazy situations). So, I would like give some highlight's of what happened. What truely bugs me the most was that my sister was supposed to be my "Maid of Honor" and in the bulletien she was, but, her actions where so far from being any help at all. I don't know why she even wasted her time being apart of the wedding party. In some of the pictures she didn't even smile (more about pictures later). My mother assured me that my sister was going to throw me a bachlorette party but my sister did not even try to go as far as to plan one. I doubt it was even ever a thought in her mind. Once again thank goodness for wonderful friends, I had a great bachlorette party it was really fun.
My sister and another awful bridesmaid of mine even did something so embarasing after the wedding was over (on the way to the reception) that one of my husbands family members witnessed what happened (trust me thats not a good thing). I am not going to mention what they did. She even had the adacity to tell me years later what they did, talk about no respect, she thought they where hot s***, if you know what I mean. To this day I keep reminding myself that when she gets married (????) I will have no part in it. It's no wonder that my sister does'nt have any really good friends, she gets too jealous of them and can't learn to just be happy for someone else when something good happens to them.
When my side of the family decided to show up (really late) for pictures, my mom looked so upset in the pictures that photographer made mention of the fact she looked so unhappy. Someone from my husbands side of the family asked who the old ginch was, he was reffering to my mom.
To make a long story short all I can say is that I don't even have a album of pictures of my wedding day for a damn good reason. Oh yeah after my parents told me that the photos can not be scanned due to a watermark (total B.S.) my sister went and scanned some of my wedding photos and photoshopped me out of some of them, real nice. And to this day there is a foot print on the upper back of my wedding dress. I wonder where that came from??? Hmm... Oh sweet memories.
